Our family engagement field has grown exponentially over the last several years. More states and school districts employ family engagement professionals than ever before. Teacher candidates are increasing their knowledge, skills, and confidence in family and community engagement. Professional research continues to demonstrate the positive impact that engagement has on student learning and development. States and districts across the country are advancing policies that elevate the importance of family and community engagement.

NAFSCE has proudly stood at the center of these exciting efforts since 2014. Next year, in 2024, as we celebrate our 10th anniversary as your National Association, we are thrilled to announce a new momentous national event to connect members, the entire family and community engagement field, and the broader education community from across North America. The National Assembly for Family Engagement in Education. 

The 2024 National Assembly in Denver, Colorado will bring together educators, practitioners, policy makers, researchers, and funders to share experiences, learn best practices, build their capacity, and network with each other as we pursue a world where family engagement is universally practiced as an essential strategy to improving children’s learning and advancing equity.
